Think of all the prayers, all the charity, fasting, fighting for the sake of Allah, of all human beings on Earth of all times…Allah does not need any of it!

Let us humble ourselves by this thought and remind ourselves that our efforts are for us only. We are utterly in need of Him and He is free of any need.
